What is Rumbo?

Rumbo is a Spanish learning app that builds a personalised study plan from scratch around your goal, CEFR level, and chosen Spanish dialect. Instead of a fixed syllabus, every session adapts to what you know and what you are working towards.

How does Rumbo personalise my lessons?

Rumbo starts with a 2-minute CEFR level test, then asks for your goal and preferred Spanish dialect. Your plan is built from those answers and continuously refined — every session feeds back into your profile so lessons always match exactly where you are.

Which Spanish dialects does Rumbo support?

Rumbo currently supports six dialects: Castilian (Spain), Mexican, Argentine, Colombian, Costa Rican, and Puerto Rican. You choose your dialect before your first lesson, so pronunciation, vocabulary, and cultural nuance are right for you from day one.

Is Rumbo free to use?

Rumbo offers a free taster lesson, a media library, and flashcards with no credit card required. Full course access — grammar, listening, writing, and conversation practice — requires a Core subscription.

How does Rumbo teach grammar differently?

Rather than teaching set phrases, Rumbo explains why phrases work — so you can construct sentences you have never seen before. Every grammar point appears in AI-generated conversation, in context, in your chosen dialect.
